OCU women roll by USAO 5-0

Zoe Barratt and the Stars posted their ninth shutout of the year Tuesday.

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Oklahoma City University defeated USAO 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon in women's soccer.

Caroline Dixon, a freshman from Manchester, England, once again led the Stars on offense with three goals on seven shots on goal in the match. OCU improved to 12-3-1, 8-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Dixon was assisted by Alex Miley, a sophomore from Edmond, Okla., on the fourth goal for the Stars. Miley also had the first goal of the match in the 15th minute of the match. Malin Andersson, a sophomore from Huskvarna, Sweden, had the third goal for the Stars in the 46th minute.

OCU kept USAO to only three shots in the match with none on goal.

The Stars take on 15th-ranked Southern Nazarene on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stars Field.
